     small group opportunities. All are
welcome.  A free nursery is available.

                  Evening Schedule:
Dinner is served at 4:45 PM
Devotions at 5:30 PM
Groups meet 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Sunday Night Alive 27! will meet on
September 28, October 12 & 26, November 9 & 23, 2014
Adults will select from these small group opportunities this semester (Sunday Night Alive 27).

        1.     CRC 101 with Pastor Engle
Review the teachings, history and structure of the Christian Reformed Church in general, and the ministry of North Hills in specific.  Good introduction to or refresher in Reformed thought and life.
2.    Catholicism with Don Peruski

Under discussion will be three areas of the Catholic faith: the issue of authority, sin and salvation, and the sacraments.  These were selected because these doctrines differ sharply from Reformed Protestantism.   Also featured will be a session for group discussion with some thought-provoking questions.
        3.    Heaven with David Beamer

What is heaven like? Scripture might not have a lot of details about heaven, but we can take the information that is there and draw out significant implications. In these sessions we’ll look at what Scripture says about our future, and see if we can answer questions that Scripture doesn’t directly address, for example: What will we look like? Will we recognize each other? Will there be family relationships? Sports? New inventions? Will we ever get bored?
        4.    The Work of Our Hands with Muriel Van Dyke

Each week experiment with a different art/craft activity, including activities like jewelry-making, card-making, and much more.  There hopefully will be a completed project to take home after most sessions.  A small materials fee may be necessary.

Take a look at our Sunday Night Alive Photo Gallery to catch a glimpse of what SNA looks like.
