Many opportunites for adults to learn and grow in the Lord are offered at North Hills.  Contact Pastor Engle, Director of Education and Outreach Anita Beem, or the church office at 248-645-1990 for more information about any of the following opportunities.

Sunday evenings - Sunday Night Alive! (SNA) 
     On alternate Sunday evenings September
     through March North Hills gathers for
     fellowship, dinner, informal worship, and
     small group opportunities. All are
     welcome.  A free nursery is available.

                  Evening Schedule:
        Dinner is held at 4:45 PM
Devotions at 5:30 PM
Groups meet 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Sunday Night Alive 26! will meet on
January 12 & 26, February 9 & 23, March 9 & 23 
Adults will enjoy a common (one group) experience this semester (Sunday Night Alive 26).

January 12 - Christianity Worldwide & Its Effects with Dr. Joel Carpenter, Professor of History at Calvin College and Director of Nagel Institute for the Study of World Christianity

January 26 - Bringing Christianity to Muslims & the Arab American Friendship Center with Dwight & Jeanne Billingsley, Director of the Arab American Friendship Center (Dearborn)

February 9 - What's Next for the CRC? How Will We Partner in God's Mission for the Church in the Next 20 Years? with Rev. Thea Leunk, Pastor of Eastern Ave. CRC (Grand Rapids), member of  the Strategic Planning and Adaptive Change Team, and Writer of Educational Materials

February 23 - Holy Terror: Can We Trust the God of Violence? with Dr. Won Lee, Professor of Religion at Calvin College
March 9 - Brains, Mind, and Soul: A Lively Excursion into the Realms of Thought, Being, and the Core of Life with Dr. Paul Moes, Professor of Psychology at Calvin College

March 23 - Abraham Kuyper: Who Was He and Why Is He Important Today? with Dr. Jim Bratt, Professor of History at Calvin College

Coffee Break Bible Study  /  9:45 AM-11:00 AM 
This interdenominational Bible Study for women meets on Wednesdays September 18, 2013 - June 4, 2014.  A nursery for children under 5 is available upon request and prearranged with the leader as needed. 

The group will study the Book of Acts.       

Bible Break  6:00 PM – 7:00 PM 
This Bible study group meets Wednesdays       
September 18, 2013 - June 4, 2014 for spiritual growth through study of the Bible.

The group will study the Book of Acts.


Study & Fellowship Group

A faith-based study that meets for Christian fellowship twice a month.  Participants gather for a meal and the study on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month 6:30-8:30 PM.
