Bible Studies to Begin

Wednesday bible STUDIES begin September 17h.  Coffee Break begins at 9:45am and Bible Break at 6:00pm. Both groups will be studying “Genesis: Creation and Covenant.”  No previous knowledge is required, and all are welcome.

Come join the next BOOK DISCUSSION on Thursday, September 18th, when we look into the story of Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc by Mark Twain.

Help the Homeless

Remember the HOMELESS here in Oakland County.  On Tuesday, September 23rd, 6:00-8:30pm, help serve a meal for some who will be temporarily housed at Big Beaver United Methodist Church.  To help, contact Anita Beem.  Sponsored by the Outreach Team.

Fall Work Bee

The Grounds Committee will hold the annual fall OUTDOOR WORK BEE on Saturday, October 4th.  We will weed and trim, plant some trees, spread some wood chips, clean out window wells and other things to ready the grounds for fall and winter.  Full tailgate breakfast will be served from 8:00-8:45am.   (Both Michigan and Michigan State have byes.)

Sunday Night Alive! Set to Begin

SUNDAY NIGHT ALIVE! (also known as “SNA”) is just around the corner with its many exciting opportunities for all ages all set for Sunday, September 28th.  Dinner is served at 4:45pm, and the Psalternatives will be back to bless our devotions at 5:30pm.  Then exciting groups for everyone begin at 6:00pm.  Watch for the SNA display in the atrium and the brochure soon to be out.  See you there!
