Our toddler classrooms are designed for children to explore and manipulate their environment independently. The teachers plan lessons around the interests of the children and their individual needs and emerging skills. By participating in activities and engaging with materials, children expand their knowledge base and social and emotional skills, develop and strengthen fine and gross motor skills, and expand their speech and language skills. They are also developing spiritual awareness while learning about self, others, and the world around them. We have four toddler classrooms (all age ranges are approximate based on the individual development of each child): The Turtle Room (ages 1-2), the Duckling Room (ages 1 1/2 - 2 1/2), the Kangaroo Room (ages 2-3), and the Monkey Room (ages 2-3).
